    Ashish / Sumeet ,
The adult ad is not displayed by the ad network of cartoon network instead it’s actually a virus in your computer that displays the Vimax ad .( I also suggest you to open linkedin.com from the same computer and you will find the same ad there as well) . Anyway i wrote to linkedin customer support mentioning the complaint and this is what they replied.
    “Dear Achuthan,
Thank you for contacting LinkedIn Customer Support. I want to first apologize for any embarrassment that may have been caused. Secondly, I would like to make sure that you know this is not an ad that has been published or condoned by LinkedIn.
Have they seen this on any other sites?
Do they have any adware removal and/or virus protection software on your computer?
If you do not, you may try downloading and running Lavasoft Ad-Aware (you may read about it and download it from the Cnet site download.com – http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html ).
This will prevent this from happening. Again, I want to apologize for the embarrassment.
    Regards,
    Brian

So kindly note that problem is not that of cartoon network / their adnetwork , instead it’s the virus / adware inside our pc that creates the trouble.

Thanks Anish for sharing the linkedin case and pointing out the cause.
We normally have well protected PC in office, but there is always a chance of something to sneak in.
Whoever and whatever is the reason, but this is a problem and publishers must also try to find a solution to it…most users are not aware of spy/adware and have outdated virus databases
    especially in home segment.
