I think MSFT may just jump into their own throat and start choking if they really go with this one UN-compatible device in the front of all potential users. To cut lots of stuff from the phone and not have them available, you have to have something revolutionary that will draw users to buy it, use it and love it... I am afraid that MSFT proved long time ago they are incapable of doing this - therefore, I have no hopes for this MSFT project to go nicely... they may shut the door of mobile phones market once for all...
