We just modified ourselves a little bit – one of the consistent feedback that I have received for pluggd.in is that it looks a little boring.
So, we have taken the first step and modified the homepage and have brought in couple of modules (like ‘What are others reading’, a real time tracker that shows 5 posts people are reading – right now!).
For now, we have modified the homepage and we are conducting A/B testing on the other pages to figure out an optimum experience – so expect an update in the coming days.

Most importantly, the new logo reflects who we are and what we do – i.e. “We Heart Startups!”. This defines us and our course of action as well.
Note: there are a couple of known jagged edges like missing page navigation.

May be you would want to explain the ‘heart’ part in your new title tag ‘We Heart Startups!’
ho hum… It sounds ominously close to ‘We hurt startups’!!!
lolz…its like really do we wanna hurt the startups??
… its like we pump the blood definitely, but whether into a start up or out of it that probably time would tell…I love the new punchline..:)
That’s a good one we <3 Startup
I guess, “We heart startups” means if startups form a body system, pluggd.in is its heart. Another interpretation is, startups are at the core of pluggd.in.
The spike is there only as a favicon but the icon is missing from the logo. The font used in pluggd.in is very good. Better than previous all CAPS text. The logo is yet to make it into twitter profile picture.
I love the new logo and the tagline. “We heart startups”. Have you considered “We love startups”?
yeah we considered that too … nya nya… we heart startups is better…:)
Well if your startup shuts down you can say that “We Fart Startups!” Haha!
@Sudhir, there is a better F-word you know … but would u ever use it for a fledgling or a humble startup?.. That’s a sad attitude dude
I liked the old logo better. The new one is very simple. But, the new modules in the home page are good.
hmm, IMO, old logo was better!
