We are looking to expand the team and well, looking for some kickass people.
Who fits in?
You should enjoy writing technology/startup related stuff.
You should have a penchant for analyzing stories and getting into the depth of it.
Most importantly, have a perspective /opinion (driven by insight or analysis).

Love Floyds? We Want You!
What’s not mandatory?
Background in journalism et al (not at all required).
Who could you be?
Engineering student, Working professional..could be anybody who is ready to spare time and contribute on a regularly basis (daily).
But I am not based in Bangalore?
We’d be damned if we say location is a constraint in this world where we mostly interact over www.
If you like what we write and want to be part of the team, write to me (with few lines on areas you would like to write about) : ashish at pluGGd.in
Please note – this is a paid position.

How much do you pay per post ?
A. If somebody is interested in contributing for the sake of money, this is surely not the right place.
B. IT all depends on the writer/committment – We do not have any specific rate.
Rgds
Ashish
This is lame .
>> Gayatri – How much do you pay per post ?
This is a good reply Ashish.
>>A. If somebody is interested in contributing for the sake of money, this is surely not the right place.
I feel that a passion to write, be read and heard is a higher calling than the money itself. There are not many great websites that allow that. This is surely a great opportunity for folks who feel that they have the insight and the stroke to write that is
read by a lot of technology and technical experts and enthusiasts.
Let the Drums Roll !!

The contribution on a “DAILY basis” is real constraint.Do you have plans to engage people on a part time basis ??
Well, I know Gayatri’s question sounds lame/naive to folks with the startup mentality.
Frankly, I don’t see anything wrong with her question for the following reasons:
1. Ashish specifically mentioned that this is a paid position – he should have been more clear about the engagement model. Most writers either get paid per post or work on a retainership basis.
2. For all you may know, Gayatri may be a kick-ass tech blogger and she wants to know if it’s really worth her time to write on pluggd.in vs (say) techcrunch.
@Sinbad – The kind of response we have received – pretty much 80% of them want to contribute because they want to (and not for money).
I agree that we should have mentioned the rate etc – but there was a reason to not do that (wanted to build the engagement model based on response).
@vbb – please send me a mail (we are accepting part time contributors as well)
@All – I will reply to mails by Monday night. Sorry about the delay
If somebody is interested in writing on films (form all perspectives), then are you interested…?
Oh yeah! Why don’t you mail me?

Hi Ashish,
I wrote an email to you about this…could not connect with your cell though.
cheers,
Marvin
I just bumped into your page and hence posted the same. I am already working as a Freelancer and have worked for TOI Delhi before moving on my own.
Now, why don’t you write that we are looking for writers [Your Passion, Our Growth] to contribute their ideas freely on our platform. Nothing wrong in being transparent. Good Luck!
Whoa! And when did we say ‘free’?
If that’s your level of understanding, I am glad you got it wrong!
All the best.
Hi Ashish,
Are there any updates on this? I mailed to the id given but have not got any response.
