And now, Vodafone Launches App Store in India

Telecom operators are under a peer pressure to launch App stores.

After Airtel’s app store, and Aircel’s announcement of an about to be launched App store, comes an App store from Vodafone.

Vodafone Essar has rolled out its app store and can be accessed by sending a message APP to 111 [toll free number].

There are close to 800 apps on Vodafone, under various categories like Entertainment, Utility, Finance, Social Networking, Games, etc. Majority of Vodafone app stores are priced between Rs.5 – Rs. 30 and and Vodafone claims that 15% apps will be free.

      Good to know that every body started there app store but my main question is

      1) if i want to put up a store locally whats the procedure and whom to contact and if there is any link and also including the price etc etc
