We earlier told you about the union budget search queries and how it modeled the public sentiment and now, Nautanki.TV has released some of the statistics for the budget day -

  • Total views – 1.2 million across widgets, embedsand main page
  • Peak streams – 4,400 streams/sec
  • Blogs with embeds – 500+
  • Avg. content viewing – 18 mins/user

Nautanki.tv partnered with Facebook to stream the Budget 2009 live on the internet with UTVi as the live stream content partner.

This is an interesting feat by Nautanki tem .- though what needs to be seen is the monetization angle of the traffic? Were they able to retain the traffic?

Do these blips help content companies in the long run?
