Disclaimer- To a startup, ‘Top VC/Best VC’ surely doesn’t mean much. This article is reflection of investments made by VC firms in India.

Do you know anyone at Nexus India Capital?

Tried visiting their website after reading this post. But their website is infected with trojans.

If you know someone who works there – do let them know. Thanks.

This is funny. Sequoia still needs to get decent returns after having made so many investments. Am sure the Sequoia team on Sand Hill Road is watching and somewhat starting to repent.

To be accurate, the top 5-6 firms by number of investments have actually a pretty bad portfolio. Guess it shows that VC business is not about investing in plenty but investing in handful quality companies. Helio and Nexus showed a lot of promise but actually have failed miserably in showing exits till now.

BTW, am surprised that Matrix did not figure in this list. Am sure they have more than 3 investments. Ashish – What say?

    Hi Ashish,

I think you should have VenturEast in your VC database. We have been ranked the second most active VC in the industry! :)

I follow your blog closely. Nicely written.

    Regards,
    Aditya.
