Why do they want to reinvent the wheel. An Ubuntu distro with the language packs would’ve accomplished the same objectives. Its kind of like the linux distro called “Red Star” by the despotic North Korean regime. Interestingly, their reasons for developing their own OS is pretty much the same as ours. DO we have enough linux distros already??

if you are using Router, check your router MTU and adjust it accordingly.

Do you know if they have any data on impact from their last releases? It will be useful to see if PC adoption has picked up/by whom and see the demographics. What do you think?

I think, the barrier for PC penetration is content being available in Indian languages. The application that is needed on the PC is pretty much the Browser.

BTW, any idea of statistics of people who can read an Indian language but can’t read English? How is it changing?
