Google Latitude Comes to Orkut

Google has launched Latitude on Orkut (get the app here) that enables users to share their location with their friends.

Google Latitude lets you share your location using either your mobile phone or by installing Google Gears on your system (Gears uses wireless signals to determine where your computer is) – via

Suggestion to Orkut team – ‘Google Latitude’ is too geeky a name to go with the Orkut TG (i.e target group), which is anything but highly tech savvy.
