Reliance Technology Ventures and Mumbai Angels Invest in Dhama Apparel Innovations

Reliance Technology Ventures and Mumbai Angels have invested an undisclosed amount in Dhama Apparel Innovations, a climate gear startup.

Dhama Apparel Innovations targets people working in harsh environments – for instance, Military personnel, Outdoor workers and Sports enthusiasts.

Products are built using ClimaCon Technology that allows wearer to set temperature and hence adjust oneself to the environment.

Current product line includes

  • ClimaGear- a jacket/vest, can maintain the temperature in side the jacket/vest ranging from 20oC to 40oC.
  • ClimaNeck – battery powered, to be worn on neck, keeps the user comfortable and cools the blood reaching the brain therefore reducing the heat stress on the brain.
  • ClimaMet- cooling/heating headgear/ helmet. It keeps the user comfortable and cools the entire head.

      Its good to see innovation getting traction with investors, and in non-tech as well.
