Boomi – Real Estate Search Aggregator for Indian Properties
There is no dearth of real estate portals in India and when you have an overcrowded market, you need meta aggregators to figure out the best deals/rates etc.
Boomi, is a newly launched real estate search aggregator that aggregates content from sites like MagicBricks, 99Acres, IndiaProperty.![]()
Users can search for a city and filter results based on various criteria like price, regions, locality, Property type, Owner/Builder/Broker etc and Boomi presents a collated view of the same.
As far as monetization is concerned, site is monetized using adsense and unless they get into affiliate channel or lead generators for portal site, I really do not see them becoming big.
Infact, SEO is one area that they won’t be able to drive and hence traffic growth will be quite organic in nature.
What’s your take on monetization model for Boomi?

@badharinath,
Could you please elaborate? This is the first Aggregator in the Indian real estate space.
I would be more than happy to incorporate your suggestions.
Thanks,
Karthik
I searched for properties between Rs. 10 – 20 Lacs for sale in Goregaon (East), Mumbai & was quite surprised to see the results & it turned out to be serious error Rs. 17,00,000 in boomi turns out to be Rs. 1.7 Crore(s) in 99 acres. So finally http://www.boomi.com fails to connect you.

@Prashant,
Thanks for the time taken to provide the feedback. We have to on a daily basis deal with site structure changes and the non uniform use of terms like lacs, lakhs, instead of uniform numeric formats esp with 99acres, though we fixed the error sometime back we still have older entries at the database level that are incorrect and are working to fix it.
Appreciate your feedback!
Best Regards,
Karthik
