We earlier covered the launch of Rang7, the OTA from Spicejet, Indigo and Kingfisher.
Contrary to the press release (which even had the quote from FIA secretary), one of the industry sources tell us that the airlines have decided to not participate in this venture – so the confusion remains intact whether this venture is for real or not.
Whois data for rang7 throws the name of “ShiVik Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd” as the owner, who incidentally owns more such domains.
So it’s still not clear whether Rang7 is for real or not – we have asked for clarification from travel companies and will wait for their reply.

We were 16 employees working for rang7. They terminated us without giving us even one day notice. It’s been more than 3 months; they have not even cleared our salaries or dues which they promised. The company is working with 2 call center employees at present. If you are listening, please clear our dues.
