Honestly, Proto this time was more of hype than anything else.
I mean, what this paper planes etc? :)

Most of these startups were already there @ headstart..but i believe..this wasn’t the best proto i attended..way too noisy..especially those discussions (i mean everytime you have topics on web2.0 etc etc…come on guys, grow up. And you don’t need to have namesake sessions..which i believe were fillers..

anyways, the gist is that proto is losing it’s appeal..and is becoming another TiE.
    Or just another networking event.

    All the best.

Repetitions are bound to be there in any event.. It is also important not to take life too seriously that would increase your stress levels. This is where some amount of fun and participation comes in. When there is audience involvement you will have noise. All innovations are incremental knowledge and they are visible for the keen observers. All presenters have really worked hard and tried to portray their best abilities. The talk and discussion sessions were excellent. My best wishes to Proto.

This time, Proto was more like Barcamp.

Hope they try to make it better next time.

Does Proto authenticate numbers in terms of achieved revenue of any presenting start-up? Make start-ups present fake revenues to get traction.

It was my first startup event and i am very much thankful to Ashish for free passes..

It was awesome to meet and interact with so many entreprenuers with the zeal in them to create something and stand on their own..

The best part of the event was the talk by Bob Young Co founder of RedHat Software. It was amazing to hear him speaking about his experience on the how diffcult it was for the industry to digest the concept of “Open Source”.

The depressing part was tht, out of 12 Case presented in PROTO, almost 80% of them was based on Web and IT. Its the right time for Proto to diversify and concentrate on other markets too..

A good new for Ashish – People were able to recognize me because of the Name ” Pluggd.in” in my ID Card.. This rates your Marketing and Branding Skills.. I have taken some Pics and will be sending you through Mail.. Pls Keep me updated with the next upcoming events and All the Best !!!
