GeoBeats embeds maps and travel info in it’s travel video player
GeoBeats (read our review) has added a sleek feature to it’s travel player – the ability to access maps and obtain travel information about points of interest within the player itself!
The beauty of this player is that you can access the entire travel network (maps/contact info and additional travel info) inside the player.

This video player technology affords travel sites an easy and powerful means of incorporating compelling and professional travel videos into their pages (the videos can be embedded using javascript code) – just like the YouTube, except that it has more of a business appeal and I do see travel sites using these videos.
GeoBeats currently has 500 video travel guides in 30 countries and I am sure these numbers are just the beginning of their long journey.
What’s great about the product is it’s focus - nobody else is doing these travel videos (of such a high quality). Every travel player is playing at a transaction level – i.e. busy extracting money out of traveler’s pocket; and the one who tries to add value will have a strong lock-in and more than that, assets which no other travel player can match.

Their player is damn neat dude!. But somewhere I read they had 90 seconds videos, has tht changed?
I really liked map feature. This is great. I am just thinking if it is possible to allow users to map nearby landmarks in their map. This way, it will be helpful for users to see what are other landmarks near the places they have covered.
