Compress your files – online

You do care for your friends — so why not spare them from downloading heavy files and instead give them an option to download the zipped one?

Try out Krun.ch – a cool web based application that allows you to compress/decompress your files online.
Krun.ch enables you to

  • Upload and compress files
  • Pick and compress files from the web
  • Upload and un-compress a compressed archive
  • Un-compress a compressed file from the web

Max. file size allowed is 10 MB.
You might be wondering why does one need this product when one can simply zip the file, upload (get 25 GB of free storage here) and have friends download the same?

Agreed, but at the same time – most of us don’t really bother to zip the files while uploading. So atleast we could be good to the ones who are downloading. Right said?

Though Krun.ch doesn’t solve a big pain but it’s surely a useful tool.
Do check it out.

    Dude
I liked the business sense you have made of a product which doesnt have any real biz impact. I mean it's a cool product, but dont deliver much value if you have a good bandwidth to upload/download huge files.
