What a shame on Indian intelligence agencies and govt. that terrorists almost ransacked the Mumbai city with terrorist attacks.
The terror attack has surely shaken us all and we just hope our laidback govt. takes strong actions against the terrorist outfits that are sprouting up all over the country.

What’s worrying about the entire episode is the meticulous planning that was done (terrorists came from Karachi via sea route – the weakest security link) – of which Indian intelligence agencies had no clue of.
Hope this is a reason strong enough for Manmohan Singh (puppet?) to take responsibility of chaos that he and his govt. has caused in the country – either step down or show some guts.
For Mumbaikars, our heart goes out to you guys – you deal with internal as well as external terrorism and have the energy to bounce back. Hats off to your shaken, not stirred attitude.

Yes bro,u r absolutely rite..only graduate nationality can contest in the elections…lets ask all these old dogs to retire and have a young govt…not a individual portfolio…every portfolio should be handled by a crew of three people…i.e.if its PM or home ministry or finance ministry..there should alteast 3 people in each ministry nd nor more individuals…if required we can keep this oldies/experienced a condultants.
May be it’s time to bring back BJP to protect our waters and borders. National security is definitely not Congress’s forte. Economy was. But, we all know how that is doing.
BJP reminds me of Hitler….they are good with everything but have a strong bias against other communities…I really don’t know whom to vote for…

I am not biased to any party but your statement makes no sense. At the time of BJP our own foreign minister escorted a terrorist in exchange of hostages of Indian Airlines plane hijacked at Kandahar,Afganistan.They could’ve taken the oppertunity to storm the plane when it was refuelling at Amritsar. How can you say that BJP is better than congress when country’s security is the issue. As for the Economy, I think it is more of a global issue than confined to a single political party.

Here is my Hypothesis of how the Mumbai terrorist attack was made possible:
The Pakistan Marine Agency has been kidnapping and capturing Indian fishing vessels for the last 5 years. Look at this news link:

Pakistan then puts these kidnapped fishermen into jail and periodically decides to either release them or to keep them languishing in jail depending on whether it wants to take favors from India to release its citizens languishing in Indian jails for much more heinous crimes.
The Indian government has done nothing, zilch, nada in the last many years to take care of the above situation.
The terrorists apparently took this situation a step further. They took the help of the Pakistan Marine Agency
to kill/kidnap and hijack an Indian fishing trawler. Next they loaded up the vessel with explosives and
grenades manufactured in Pakistani factories. Finally they entered Mumbai (with all their prior research and review of the cities famous landmarks and their floor plans) and launched these attacks.
Conclusion: The above goes to show that there are several factors leading to this tragedy:
ignoring the dangers posed by allowing Pakistanis to enter Indian territory by air, land and water without realizing the dangers it would pose to Indian lives
1) the lackadaisical attitude of the government in dealing firmly with Pakistan
2) the apathy of Indian citizens who were happy to be tolerant and look the other way
3) the absence of policing security and law system that protects the citizenry proactively
4) the lack of political will to impose strong laws – the Congress is a leader on this
5) the willingness to negotiate with terrorists – the BJP created a horrible precedent during the Indian
Airlines hijacking incident few years ago
6) the lack of cool self-assessment of what India’s strengths and weaknesses are in the security and law/order area
7) opening up of borders with Pakistan – a country that is predominantly lawless and where the government only pretends to govern. We have spent too much time trying to build a relationship with a government that cannot control its internal environment
9) constant interference in the functioning of the defence forces by the Indian government
10) not investing in intelligence, security and training that is world class to ensure that the police can deal with such incidents
11) agnostic Indian citizen psyche that refuses to get united and is happy in living in denial untill they are not personally attacked
12) a citizenry that does not hold its politicians responsible for their actions.
These dont look like terrorist attacks to me…similar to the operation wrath of god orchestrated by isralie forces in leabanon in the 1970s…the attack at the leopold hotel and the CST are decoys to divert the attention of security personnel..these terrorists ( i would say theses are trained marines) are after a high profile target, who is either in the taj or in the oberoi..nobody willknow who it is…also,these guys have done very mediocore job.
The indian forces are being pressurised to keep this slow and drag it until the janta looses interest in this incident. NSG,millitary,police,RAF to take down 15 terrorists…come on who are we kidding
this si just my theory, my prayers go out to all those who have lost their life and i salute all the brave jawans.

The priminister of India shouldn’t be blaming neighboring countries – basically Pakistan for these attacks. India homes a large percentage of Muslims within itself as well. Accusing Pakistan would just create tension between both countries after years of reconciliation!
I second that. Without any investigation, it is unfair to blame ‘neighbouring countries’ (Pakistan), already a victim of terrorism, to be responsible for the attacks. The Indian Government claims that the ISI has a vital role behind these attacks. This incident makes it evident that Muslim fundamentalists are present in India aswell, something their government should accept. They should also recognize the Pakistani governments efforts to cooperate with India in exposing and apprehending these culprits rather than accusing them.
Has anyone thought why ATS Chief Hemant Karkare who was investigating the malegaon blasts perpetrated by the RSS/Sangh parivar suddenly gets killed.. He had a death threat only 3 days ago by some Marathi guy… He was very passionately investigating the case in which some high profile politicians could be involved..
This is a pure false flag operation.. Spend some time and do some research on the net before branding ppl as terrorists.

This is for all of those people who want to make a difference. If realization has dawned after 26/11 and you think the government is bad and you want to do something? Then not voting is not the way out, remember if you don’t vote, your opinion will not matter. If you don’t like the candidates, this is what you can do and stop them from being elected and keep them out of politics as well!
49-O in Constitution of India
Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section ” 49-O” that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn’t want to vote anyone!
Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these leaders have never disclosed it….
This is called “49-O”.
Why should you go and say ” I VOTE NOBODY”… because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received “49-O” votes more than 123, then that polling will be canceled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them.
This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way; of our whole political system……. it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public….
Please spread this news to as many as you know…
Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India … show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting…. so don’t miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this on…
