Mast Calendar – Personalised Calendar Facebook App from iTasveer

iTasveer has a launched a Facebook Calendar App called Mast Calendar. The app allows you to create poster calendar customized with one’s photos and friends birthday. User can choose to either download a high resolution version of the calendar for print or can order one for Rs. 99 only.

The pricing strategy of allowing full resolution print version for free download is interesting. Generally, customized merchandise sellers do not offer this. Also, Facebook App is indeed a good way of going viral and spreading the word.

You can select the design and add photos (from profile as well as album). Mast Calendar does a good job of auto organizing your pictures in the calendar (moreover the drag drop makes calendar creation quite a breeze). The app is claimed to be created in flat 7 days using iTasveer’s online product designing platform called Doodlepad.

An interesting feature is enabling users to setup birthdays in the calendar – all from your facebook friends’ data and one can even enter birthday/important event data otherwise.

Overall, an interesting app that is just rightly timed (new year) and well thought of. And it’s something one wouldn’t mind paying for as well.
