NDS, technology provider for digital pay-TV in partnership with DEN (DEN Networks Limited) has launched a TV blogging application, Blog.telly.
The service now offers DEN subscribers the ability to use Blog.telly to comment on popular discussion topics across four categories: News Views (current affairs), Movie Masala (movies), Gup Shup (TV, soaps and celebrity gossip) and Sports Mania. Comments can be posted via SMS or directly on the website.Blog.telly will provide DEN with information and feedback on their subscribers’ likes and dislikes which can be used to determine future programming.(source)
Hindustan Times launches HTTweets
HT has launched HTTweets (in partnership with Cliqz.com), a news content aggregation website.

As per afaqs, this is not a content aggregation deal and Cliqz crawls various websites for the content (or is it rss feed aggregator?).
Interestingly, the name has nothing to do with ‘twitter’ styled formats.
Note to HT – Seems like a broken strategy – HT earlier launched talktoHT and now HTTweets – there is no integration with the existing HT site (except the look and feel). Marketing these standalone service is a huge task and is best done when they are part of the main domain (otherwise such me-too initiatives die a natural death).

@eBay : I did not quite understand the purpose of opening EasyBuy, when maximum junta buying stuff overseas does so through returning friends and families. Why would anyone pay the extra customs & duties to the Government and that to at a sky-high rate just because the object is not available within the country??
HTTweet.com seems yet another dud. What is it’s purpose? I’d rather follow HT on twitter. Sad Indian internet story again.
