Google Apps and SalesForce Integration – That’s what the SMEs ordered for

So finally Google punches one more blow to MS, by integrating Google Apps with Salesforce’s CRM apps.

The integration will give Google access to Salesforce’s one million subscribers, and most importantly, a deeper connection with small businesses.

Salesforce customers can start using GTalk, Gmail, GCal etc along with the sales tool, as the products are tightly integrated. The basic edition of google apps is shipped free with the sf account and the premiere ones (with enhanced security and management feature) will cost $5 /user/month.

The integration sounds deadly for rival Microsoft, because both Google and Salesforce have amazing platform apps and the integration can run far deeper than just the Sales tool integration.

Also, Zoho needs to take count of this integration – as Google, by virtue of this partnership has got access to 1 million more users.

This is surely a milestone for online office apps – as the online apps needs to go beyond the “office space” and get closer to small business suite of products.
