Nexus Venture Partners Invests $4mn in Vdopia

Nexus Venture Partners has invested $4mn (Series A) in Vdopia, a video ad network. Vdopia has also appointed Rohit Sharma as its new President and CEO.

Vdopia has bagged publishers like network18, Zoom TV, NDTV etc. and offers Talk2Me ad platform and Live Streaming ad insertion to advertisers.

Video advertising industry has seen growth owing to the newer format adopted by publishers who are putting up their TV content on the web.

Another player, Jivox raised $10.7mn from Opus Capital and Helion Ventures and even Komli has launched it’s video ad network.

Nexus Venture Partners is on a roll these days and recently invested $10mn Commodity Trading Software firm, Eka and $3mn in Deccan Healthcare, Nutraceutical Firm.

    iam seeing their ads in indyarocks videos too.some times they are annoying because they keep running the same ads.i GUESS THEY STILL NEED TO ADD MORE VIDEO AD INVENTORY.
