Bollywood is going digital and while one of the Khans played the YouTube card (3 Idiots to be released on YouTube – Winds of Change? Or PR Exercise?), SRK’s My Name is Khan’s music was launched in iTunes three days before the store launch.
The strategy behind iTunes launch is simple – make the music available to online world, where piracy is rampant.
Songs are priced at $0.99 each and the music is now available for streaming and download across all the countries where iTunes is present.
What’s your take on My Name..’s iTunes strategy?
