Motorola Milestone, the Android Phone to be Launched in India

Motorola is launching Motorola Milestone, the GSM version of Droid in India by March 22nd.

As per Flurry, 1.05 million Droid handsets were sold during the first 74 days of launch, as compared to 1 million iPhones sold over the same 74 day launch period.

Essentially, Motorola has carved a niche with Android phones [as opposed to Nexus One].

Motorola Milestone – Tech Specs

The GSM phone comes with 5MP Camera, DVD-quality recorder, QWERTY Slider, 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen, onboard memory of 1GB and runs on Android 2.0.

Though the price of the phone is not yet announced, expect to shell out INR 30K+ for the sleek phone.
