I would love to try out ZMO . their demo looks very cool but i am not able to understand few things. Are they just creating a client interface for a webapp so that every Http request don’t have to fetch UI only DATA . if so than do they ensure that work flow remain untouched , identical .

other area is of on the fly content reformatting . if i have a web based app . lets say an email . i show Advertisement in the side bar . when ZMo create an native app for me will there we provision of showing adds ?

While they are building an interesting product.. if you look at it the world is moving the other way. It does have a value prop till mobile internet matures into a more usable form. For example, do you see an iPhone owner using it ?

@Prashant, Thanks for the nice words. To answer your questions, the workflow is dictated by the web application via the javascript coded logic of the web application (same as a webapp) Mobitop provides Native interface again in web friendly javascript apis.(Every Mobitop licensee gets ZMO free !!!)

The second point is actually answered in the first since your web app remains a web app all your advertising interfaces etc do not need any change what so ever.

@AD, again thanks for your kind words. And I agree with you that the world in going Mobile Internet way but not necessarily the Mobile browser way(typing in URL is too much to ask from Mobile user) Even iphone has a native ‘youtube’/'Google Maps’ applications and hence, yes I do see plenty of ZMO/ Mobitop applications being put on the iphone and iphone users using it !!.

Essentially ZMO/Mobitop allows you to create very very powerful mobile web widgets which can even replace some of the native mobile applications like sms/phonebook.

Again, thanks a lot for your comments which enabled me to elaborate Zmo/Mobitop further !
