I think there is a huge money, but not much for a ABCD tiny little startup working the old fashion way. The money goes to Telcos, TV channels, etc.

It will be good to see a disruptive startup, which makes it cheaper for people to vote/SMS and be able to keep majority of the revenue generated to themselves.

The number is really staggering. I really couldnt agree more with Kamal’s statement that the real social network is on the mobile. Btw money is not a concern when you send free SMSes

Kamal – operators charge anywhere between 2 Rs to 50 paisa, to even free withn in-network calls.

I am sure it won’t be 5 paisa , and bulk sms packs are meant for only prepaid subscribers. Post paid is still a huge number for VAS related opportunity

it will cm around 5 paisa…. mos telecom service providers provide sms packs … rest u all ll b knowin….
… as far as internet nd mobile comarison is concrnd … dats coz mobile z more personal than internet… !!

This biz is big!!
Think of all the reality shows. Each sms is worth 6rs. (though I don’t watch them) at 1,00,000 sms per show (pretty conservative estimate). The money is huge!!!
