mkhoj is seemed to be very old name.it’s explanation to person of different country is difficult.the new name inmobi is quite simple and easily understable in this IT world.

Just to give you the insights on the new name, while we were coming up with it, our primary focus was that it has to be self explanatory and simple. not some convoluted way of saying what is staring in the face. So we started with …”ok, we are into mobile advertising” and we dint have to go too far from there. We always came back to the start and hence … we are INto MOBIle = InMobi

About time, given the “khoj” part went away ages ago. Have been very impressed with their reach, and sales strengths. Needed slightly stronger marketing/branding though. Perhaps this is a start….

Will the “In” part make it sound too India specific, tho ?

Great work by this team. Seems to be one of the handful companies making it to the global stage. This seems like a valley start-up in its growth pattern. Super growth in couple years.
