Local search market in India is hot and Y! India has now announced investment of 30% stake in Call Ezee, a directory search service.
Call Ezee is a telephone directory search service currently covering 14 cities across India and will use the funding to increase the coverage of their offering.
..the partnership provides Yahoo Inc the opportunity to expand its local reach and complement its current web service through the voice service. The partnership will enable the duo to share data and support each other on mutual basis. [ET]
This is Yahoo’s third investment in India – BharatMatrimony and Tyroo are the earlier ones.

yahoo call ezee is a fraud company every one in that company say that i m a branch manager baster sohail kjhan he is the person who is the biggest culperet in the company if yahoo want to run good name in market throw sohail khan out of the organisation.
yahoo callezee is a good company now and they are providing good service now.They are also conducting call n win contest.The information provided by callezee is fast and quick.I recommend to use callezee service.
even though, the relationship has past 1.5 years, yahoo is yet to list all those data which callezee has, on one hand one can say it may be a failure on the part of yahoo executives to get the work done out of callezee or it may also be a case where callezee has got the initial investments in their pocket and not bothering to pay in return. Overall looks like its a murky deal!!!

last 2 days before(12-06-2010) ……a call from landline number they introduce them self from yahoo….. and they give the above said services i asked them to send a mail from the official mail id….
they send mails from CALLEZEE letterhead ……
and today they call me and again they said they call from yahoo… i am asked them “but the email is from callezee …..”
they said they are the official partners of yahoo….
