OnYoMo powers Reliance’s Local Search on Mobile

Reliance has launched ‘Quick Search’ on it’s RIM Web, a local search service powered by OnYoMo.

The service is

available at Rs. 3 per search and can be accessed from Reliance Mobile World>More Services>Guides>Quick Search menu.

Surely, a good distribution channel for OnYoMo (earlier they partnered with IndiaTimes for it’s WAP based local search service).

Local search players are taking the non-web distribution route very aggressively (for instance, asklaila powers Airtel’s DTH [iCity channel]) and aligning with an operator seems to be the best way out.

What’s your take? Which local search engine do you use?
