    Hi Sinha,

That is certainly a good list. However, in order to ensure exhaustiveness, as much as possible, I think you should also include TISS – Tata Institute of Social Sciences. They offer an HR program, which is rated one of the best in the country. I have a friend who is currently going there and their program seems to be brilliant. I am personally pursuing my MBA @ Thunderbird School of Global Management.

    • Ashish on April 14, 2009 at 8:26 am

      Thanks Guru. Will add TISS

  2. kamal on April 14, 2009 at 7:11 am

that will be helpful for lots of people out there.. one compiled list will certainly the ’search’ a little easier..

  3. Amit on April 14, 2009 at 10:08 am

IIFT is in New Delhi and not Ghaziabad. I hope you can correct the same at the earliest.

  4. Harpreet on April 14, 2009 at 10:25 am

Where this list stops is where the problem starts. The mentioned list is relevant to the top 1% of the population and would be rattled off by most MBA aspirants. It is when choosing between the 160 MBA colleges in NCR, the right choice becomes difficult.

  5. Ashish on April 14, 2009 at 10:59 am

Have added TISS, corrected IIFT details.
@Harpreet – I agree with you on the list of smaller colleges. Will digg that out, if community needs it! (maybe in a week or so).

  10. Parag on May 12, 2009 at 8:10 pm

Just came across Great Lakes, Chennai. Never heard of it before but given the guest lecturer list and board I rank it quite high. Placement salaries aren’t bad too.
And ISB is definitely better than atleast IIM Indore and Kozikhode

  31. Manny on September 26, 2009 at 10:03 am

    Hello friends

I need a big favour from all of you.Plz help me out and suggest something good..
I am Australian Citizen ( also POI ) and completed my BBA(Executive) from Australian University in 2008 and now planning to pursue MBA from India.
In addition to that, i have got five years of experience in operational management in Australia. But now i want to come back and settle down in India only.

    1) Can i get admission in good business school without sitting for test? If yes, suggest few..???
    2) I am also planning for GMAT but just wondering if any good business schools accept my application on basis of my qualification and work experience?

I will really appreciate your help if you could suggest me something really gud.
    God bless u all…

    • arjun on September 26, 2009 at 10:44 am

Very remote chance of a “GOOD” school accepting one without a “TEST”. Try our ISB, IIMA PGPX, IIML IMPX and even Noida Campus … and with a good GMAT score you should be able to make it…Best of luck.

      • Manny on September 27, 2009 at 5:11 am

        thanks arjun…..
        really appreciate that….
can you please tell me…..if any of the business schools offer NRI seats?
I mean which are reserved and they have different merit list for NRI’s.
