List of mobile ad networks in India:

  • Mobile Worx/Zestadz
    ZestAdz is a multi-format mobile advertising marketplace which enables advertisers to launch highly targeted and relevant mobile advertising campaigns.
    ZestADZ shares 50% of its ad revenues with publishers.
  • mKhoj
    Gives advertisers a targeted way to reach out to consumers directly on their cell phones around the globe and has given mobile publishers a way to monetize their traffic.
    Using mKhoj, advertisers can control spend (on a daily basis as well)
    Funding: $7.1mn funding from KPCB & Sherpalo.
  • MobiSolv
    Regional ad network, mobisolv shares 60% of ad revenue with the publisher.
  • Admob
    Serves close to 400mn impressions a month from India, AdMob mainly monetizes the US publisher site traffic for Indian advertisers/audience.

There are other mechanism of mobile advertising, for e.g. permission marketing (mGinger, 160by2 etc), bluetooth advertising (telibrahma).

What’s really interesting to note is that there are far too many Internet ad networks for a media which is ~1/10th of the Mobile user base, while there are only a few mobile ad networks in India.

      wat about MyToday these guys have developed a flourishing business thru Ad on SMS, though targetting is still an issue which is a prerequiste for any advertisng medium but so is case with all Mobile Ad networks I would like to belive.

      Hey guys, Admob is one of the best mobile ad network in the whole universe.
      It has continent level, country level, carrier level, device level targetting. It serves about 500 million impressions per month. It serves about 2k impressions per second. So that the ad r delivered very fast. Advertiser can spend on ads like crazy since it delivers about 15 million ads per day. the publishers can earn money like crazy since admob shares 60% of the cost.

      mkhoj is really waste ad network. Worst network i ever seen in india. Allowing porn ads, vulgur ads (both text and images) also. Admob is the only best ad network. admob is the trust worth network.
