Rediff has launched a new service called webinmail that enables one to
receive webpages in their inbox. All you need to do is send a command in the subject (e.g. website url, google:<query>) to browse@webinmail.com
The received email will convert hyperlinks to email links, so that you can request subsequent pages as well.
Well, a similar service (called web2mail) was quite popular in the early days of web – I am not really sure what Rediff is trying to achieve via this service.
Maybe, whole lot of Indian companies have blocked Internet (Infosys blocked pluGGd.in) and a service like this can be useful to these users.
What’s your opinion?

The whole internet has moved away from web and checking the websites to rss feeds and other things. I don’t see a point in getting a web page in my email.
How tough would it be to block the email?
Good Point about the RSS feeds Sriram! pluggd.in was blocked at my previous company but it didn’t really matter as I almost always read the RSS feeds using Google Reader which was not blocked.
i am sure now many people will be viewing savita bhabi in their mailbox using the above mentioned rediff service
This is good to see that we send web through mail.
