500

So what will you do with Rs. 500 (i.e. ~$10.5)?

For some, it’s ‘nothing’ (will spend on booze/smoke/branded underwear), for others it’s quite a lot! (tution fees, ration and lot more )

Nice, having grown up in a village, where cash flow is sparse, I know 500 would mean a lot not just for children but even elders of most families not just the under-privileged.

On a different note, a more interesting video for pluggd to showcase would a video on what will you do with Rs. 50,000 or $1000 ?(say)

Rs 500/-, for most of the people its small amount but if we take it as an opportunity its not big but decent amount. Ill goes to cyber cafe and invests some amount in searching new business/opportunity for me. Attend seminars or buy good books like “Life BEYOND CODE” by Rajesh Shetty or “THE ALCHEMIST” by Paulo Coelho. If not fresh, will go for 2nd hand book.

Every business starts with small amount and what you need is just one initiative. I can only say “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” Every amount is big amount if we invested in right direction. So take this opportunity and make it as big as possible.

Now the question is ,What should people do spend on Booze, branded underwear, hair cut or not spend and donate?
The answer is quite a quandary in itself.
Let’s look at an extreme case and people don’t spend on the Booze and stuff and they donate.
Short term effect: poor people will have more purchasing power and will be in a better condition
Long term effect: The industries which employ so many people and in turn generate the purchasing power of individuals and also contribute to Total national product will be out of business and in turn generating more unemployment and poverty.

Having said that, now If I find 500 rupees somewhere and I see somebody in need I will donate,I think most of the people will, coz we are human, we feel the pain when we see people suffer.
