Please be a little less cynical - many a times, authors (can speak for all bloggers) do not link to bigger site (like Goog/Yahoo etc..as these are known brand names)..and none of this is intended. So may be we are not the target audience. They anyways wont earn much from us as we do not click on ads. The rest of the India seems to like it and that is more important for them. Pageviews is a more respected metrics than reader involvement i guess. May be the quantity matters not the quality when it comes to audience.
