NTT DoCoMo to buy 25% stake in Tata Teleservices

NTT DoCoMo is expected to buy 25% stake in Tata Teleservices , and size of the deal is expected to touch $1.5bn (valuating TTSL @ $6bn) -

Tata Teleservices is a loss-making company and its cumulative losses stood at Rs 5,604 crore between 2005-07 – via BS

The Indian Telecom Industry is seeing lot of action with every operator/company trying to increase the pie by closely working with other entities in ecosystem.

For instance : Airtel’s Rs. 200 crores Innovation fund, OnMobile’s developer network
