IOL Netcom has bagged the franchisee of MTNL’s CDMA service in Mumbai and Delhi region (incidentally, the highest teledensity regions).

MTNL’s Garuda service in Mumbai and Delhi couldn’t take off because of lack of differentiation and poor marketing, but IOL Netcom is betting big on the CDMA spectrum available for MTNL.
