BSNL to launch 3G Service by December

While GSM and CDMA operators fight over 3G auction date, BSNL is gaining inroads and is launching 3G service in another 2 months – i.e by December 2008.

While the pricing of 3G service is not yet announced, it is being described as ‘rich man’s service,’ – include voice, IPTV (Internet protocol television) and high-speed data transfer.

BSNL has already soft-launched it’s 3G service in Pune (and RCom is beta testing it’s service), and it would be interesting to watch whether BSNL can carry the lead forward.

What’s your take? How much are you willing to pay for 3G (qn to iPhone users)?
