Wanna travel to outer space? Write an essay
Wanna go to outer space?
Assuming you don’t work for NASA, your choices are:
a. Pay USD$20 million and a little more [like Anousheh Ansari did], or
b. Write a 250 words essay on “What is the best patented invention, and why?“.
New Scientist has teamed up with Audi to offer the winner a chance to
- Fly into space, 62 miles (100 kilometres) above Earth
- View the Earth from space.
- Experience weightlessness.
- Participate in the birth of the space travel industry and inspire future generations of explorers.
And all you have gotta do is write an essay [deadline is April 30, 2007].
And now the bad news: the competition is open only to UK citizens! ![]()
Nevertheless, I suggest ye all to give it a shot – you never know when the stars shine!!
