pluGGd.in suffered through major fever and it took me a while to get the baby up and running.
As mentioned by our evil doctor (i.e. hosting provider):
I am sorry, but we can’t run your website currently because it eats too much system resources and overloads the server because it is very popular. You must remove some most popular section of your website.
Your website is a blog. So I advise you to disable some most popular section of the blog. Please let me know if it is acceptable for you.
Well, remove most popular section and do what? Go fishing?
Looks like this is a price one needs to pay for “mild” success!
A great thing that happened during this entire course of action was that I got 10 emails, 4 SMS and 3 calls from our readers/friends and everybody jumped in to support us.
Thanks to Yusuf, Subodh, Sri, Mahesh, Kapil, Raina, Alok, Prashant for the support extended. We will soon move to dedicated hosting space.
Any suggestions on a good provider?

Have a look at http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net, they have an interesting model (the pricing as well as hosting) and are very stable and scalable. I have been hosting a couple of sites there for more than an year now and have hardly faced any problems.
The comma after it got into the URL above, so here it is again: https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/
Ashish,
If you are looking to host the site(s) in US, I can recommend a host I had good experience with. Feel free to contact me.
Thanks Gaurav. Will mail you for details
Do check if you have caching enabled on wordpress. If you are eating up resources not bandwidth, than I am sure you will able to solve the problem by caching.
Otherwise take up any decent plan with dreamhost or phpwebhosting. Make sure you check for discount coupons or deals available on the net for above two companies before signing up with them.
Yes, I was using wp-cache plugin and acc. to hosting provider (Midphase) , it was more to do with the no. of CPU cycles.
I have moved to a temp server now, but still hunting for a good deal. I am currently evaluating a few options. Any idea how is liquidweb?
I am currently using Liquidweb. Their support is very good. I recommend them.
