I do agree with other that myntra has done this really bad and tried to do business using this trick. Those designs are so obvious and instead of real Indian spirit they are showing discrimination. This is not what we Indian wants to show...do we? never...

I just a look at those myntra t-shirts and agree with Kamal - these are cheaptricks and put me off big time.

Just goes on show how everybody is desperately trying to make money out of Oz fiasco.
I wont be surprised if myntra guys start selling india flag undies..or nude pics in t-shirt...just goes on to show their unprofessionalism.

SHAME on them for behaving so badly! Myntra - you have just lost 1 customer.

I used itasveer to send a few tshirts in India. I didn't get much feedback about the cloth and printing, but the size was an issue. I ordered Medium T-shirts, but they were apparently larger than Indian medium.

Talking about Pringoo, I like the design. I tried to find their base price for sellers, couldn't find it. So, I gave up on that.

I then tried to create a tshirt using their flash app. It is designed for designers only. They don't let any random user to add multiple images or text. I wanted to create a myspace-page-like design, but couldn't. While I was creating the Tshirt, the price increased (not sure once or twice). I, as a buyer wasn't told why is the price being increased. Is it because I am using both sides for printing or I am using a multi color picture or perhaps I added text? I imagine it was because I wanted printing on both the sides, but they need to inform the buyer.

With free shipping, I think they beat itasveer by around Rs. 100, which is good. One can start a store on their site, but I would be interested in a service that not only let sellers put their designs on pringoo/myntra/itasveer/etc. but also sellers' website.

well i meant i use local stores. and same doesn apply to every1. ppl do purchase ..
but there shud be some additional value in it. like vast no. of designs.. choosing design of my choice will definitely make me think once bout purchasing online at the concerned site.
And yes tying up with local stores is a good idea in fact. They are not in the marketplace of choice. There are new possibilities...
- entry to same marketplace
- creating a new one
Thats what i meant. Local shops will be reluctant to have this much profit margin for their designs...

@Kamal I agree that the local store doesn't apply everywhere, but designers too have access to those production houses.

As Mahesh says, one would eventually want to try out t-shirts before buying (dont we do that, unless we are perfect bods :D)

Here is a biz idea - how about these guys tying up with local shops and selling their products? basically, all of these cos. are creating marketplace, but surprisingly, they are not in the market that most of us visit! (i.e. shopping malls etc)!

Local store. ... But that doesn't apply to everyone.
Site has few very good indicators of success as well as potential flaws that render its chances of success a little bit suspicious.
e.g. Site helps people earn.(Those who design)
       Caters to a vertical demand.
But I don't think this site is going to make a first visitor feel attached.
Primary focus should be on buyers and not sellers. Obviously you would say if there are no sellers how can you expect buyers to come. Now thats a kind of trade off. Only thing i mean to say is that site should be designed according to the buyer's online behavior and neatly represent their second idea as well. Another advantage of doing that is to avoid unnecessary designs flowing into the website.
lets tell only those people who dream... imagine and design.
And they don't need to display too much information on everything.

AND these are my personal views and kindly correct me if I'm wrong. I am learning yet.
