In my opinion sites like these are very useful as we are able to almost instantly relay our thoughts and feelings at each moment(while we have access to the internet, of course.)
They are connecting everyone in the globe more and more, as well as allowing unprecedented levels of freedom to express your thoughts whenever, (and sometimes more importantly) however you want. It’s the natural progression from having such speedy technology.

Sharing and recording your life has the added benefit of allowing you to look back on your life, like having diaries which are larger, faster and much more vibrant than paper journals.

Whether the sites become popular to masses of people or not is perhaps less likely, I agree, but at least they bring joy to those who use them.

To answer a few things,

If you’ve noticed our response system and the tracking of different friends according to the level of access they’ve given you – it’s simple and yet a powerful enabler of tracking and responding other’s life stories and moments.

For instance, a friend, on a tour to paris happened to go to an irish pub and posted celtic music via a voice call, and it spurred interest among us back here about the whole thing – more of a multi-party conversation in a thread..
