What a great idea, I have been wanting to warn job seekers about Findata Financial Services, also known as Finsolnet. Findata makes allot of promises, and never ever delivers. They try to keep you in the company by promising more responsibility, higher pay, funny and pyramid type commission structures (you pull on the short end) and client service means nothing for them, taking client money without providing service they do that gladly. Please job seekers, stay away from Findata financial services.

@Vivek:

- Because reviews are anonymous, they are honest. On the other hand, features like comments, rating, etc. help users judge how useful is a review.

- Many existing reviews and salaries are at lower level, but as we move forward, we are now getting many reviews from senior levels too. We hope to cover all levels in companies from all industries in India.

- JobeeHive is a social network focused on employer and salary information. We plan to build networking features to tap the collective intelligence of the network. JobeeHive wants to give a 360 degree view of companies to readers (apart from reviews and salaries). At Glassdoor, its a complete anonymous website, we are not. You get to interact with others and get to know their real identities (but we are ensuring that all reviews are completely anonymous). Hence, we had given a medium to interact through scrapbook. We might change it to a message based and Q&A based system in the future.

At first site it looks very similar to Glassdoor, reviews and rating etc. Very neatly done , very commendable.

Not sure how useful the scrapbook is (alike orkut), i guess they are better of without it, it somehow dilutes the intent of their site.

On the flip side, most of the comments are anonymous and also the reviews are more at a lower grad level, they need to have a broader range of reviews..

Best of luck for the team.

I am not sure how many people were let in by JobeeHive when they were in closed Alpha. But I have been checking reviews on JobeeHive since 1 year, hence the assumption.

Hi Ashish,

Thanks for the post.

I have found JobeeHive particularly useful in dwindling job scenario. Every move that any one makes is very important under these conditions, they better make an informed decision. It is imperative to know what they are getting into.

I urge all the job seekers to make their next career hop with careful consideration. JobeeHive helps you do exactly that.

@Tyche - Glassdoor launched in US few months back - they have been around for I guess, more than 6 months.

One minor correction...
Glassdoor launched in India last week, But JobeeHive have been around for quite sometime now. So, You are not correct in assuming that JobeeHive is inspired from Glassdoor.
And I really don't agree that JH's real competion is from dwindling economy. I must say, in such a time where market is volatile and jobs are few, I, as a proffesional, hook onto the every single bit of the news about my industry.
