Talentty
Talentty is a career matchmaking site that is bringing a twist in recruitment by enabling special jobboards for each industry (for e.g. walkins.talentty.com, software.talentty.com etc). 
Talentty’s claimed differentiation is the matching engine that enables both employer and professional to discover the best match using various criteria.
For the passive job seekers, talentty enables one to create anonymous profiles and utilize their matching engine to discover the right match.
In my opinion, the concept of matching/recommendation engine looks great on paper, but isn’t a viable model (except Amazon and probably Netflix, nobody else’s recommendation engine works. And if recommendation is a pure SQL command, any HR professional can do it (just the way they use ‘ctrl+F’ to find out a fit).
Coders2020
Coders2020 is a job site dedicated to freshers jobs and has all the relevant materials one would need – placement papers, details of walkin interviews etc.
A no-nonsense site that I am sure would be beneficial to freshers. There are plenty of fresher oriented sites and given the confusion related to one’s career, I am sure many of them can just survive thru’ employer listings or ads.
Give these sites a spin and share your feedback. I do believe that job/recruitment portal in India needs to break away from naukri and monster kind of model, but needs more than what the above mentioned startups are offering.

To add some more information for your community, here are my thoughts..
I think till now most of job portal in India were uni-directional i.e. allow employer to list job and send them bunch of CVs.
We are trying to introduce differentiation
Special job board – For instance, if a professional is passionately looking to work for a startup, then he he/she need not spend hours filtering million of jobs to locate a startup job. That’s where our http://startup.talentty.com/ JobBoard comes handy.
Also for employer, such job listing type differentiation makes sense to list jobs for respective target audience.
We have special job board based on job function verticals like http://Accounting.Talentty.com and also industry verticals like http://Software.talentty.com
Matching Engine – You are right that Amazon is great in recommendations. We are trying a simple thing here to start with and we will build robust engine based on suggestions. The current BETA engine only matches job content tagging with professional’s job interest tag.
For example in Talentty, while posting job, the employer can specify what are the minimum tag that describes this job. We match this among million other tags of professionals and arrive on a matching suggestions. Very simple, we would love to hear from employer & community if it makes sense.
Our goal is to offer a value differentiation in Talentty. We look forward for comments, and suggestions.

Well, to be frank i do not like the way the startups are named.. talentty with double tt, its not that easy to pass on, though the idea is pretty interesting.
We also revamped our internship portal, http://www.hellointern.com with better search features and chat interview features. I would love the startups to try it out. Everythings free!!!
Couldn’t open Coders2020 but Talentty looks great. Its got a young and fresh feel.
