iXiGo launches Hotel Search Engine

iXiGo has launched hotel search engine covering 4500 hotels in 320 Indian cities.

iXiGO’s hotel search accesses more than 30 leading national and international hotel booking websites, enabling comparisons of room tariffs of the same hotel across multiple sites within a few seconds. The hotel search engine sorts accommodation by price, star ratings, amenities and allows detailed views for maps and photos; all in a single webpage.

The search works pretty good, though I find iXiGo a little overwhelming in terms of presentation.

Give it a try. Share your feedback.

honestly, I dont find the UI very usable – say if I am looking for a ticket for 2 adults, 1 kid – the srp shows fare per adult.
and alternate rows coloring isn’t very neat.

Again, that’s my opinion – but you guys might want to run the UI across few customers (non-geeky of course)

It is very important when looking for hotels that one should be able to narrow down his/her search based on area.

That feature currently seems absent. A big handicap.

  4. [...] hotel comparison engine is not a new idea – iXiGo, ClearTrip , inasra are doing it – so essentially, ghumichalge needs to define the differentiation [...]
