Just noticed that EasySquareFeet is down.. Although it says it is down for maintenance (from last 3-4 months) .. but it appears that they have closed down the shop.

Real Estate broking is a cool business. But it has to compete with 1) a low priced solution in the form of classifieds in dailies / weeklies and 2) the unorganized market that already exists. The best part is the non-portal / physical one. If the consultants can provide unbiased opinion and response for the various doubts and questions that clients have, that could turn out to be the USP. Anyother ‘must have’ is the value add like legal scrutiny, sub-registrar office work, etc.
