Abu,

Thanks for the nice coverage and appreciation on your blog.

Your issue seems like an isolated incident. I request you to send more information at support@tringme.com for us to investigate this further.

After seeing this post, i registered as a tringme user. i even wrote a post on my newbee blog venturoni.wordpress.com.I am not happy that you charge me for calls that didn't go through.I hope it's an error in accounting and not a business policy.

My last comment doesn't seem to have gone through, so here goes again (Not sure why this happens to me :s)

I seem to have worked up bit of a storm here, so let me put things into perspective. Yes, I have used TringMe on more than one occasion. You guys have the cheapest rates and calling from Gtalk is a cinch.

But I would have used it more frequently (I stay in Singapore, so trust me I need to do this a lot), had I not faced problems on some occasions. Sometimes the call doesn't go through, on other occasions your Gtalk bot was down and this time I got charged for a call I didn't make (that never feels nice).

Please, please do not take this as propaganda. The rant of a frustrated customer perhaps? I have absolutely nothing against you guys. As Vijaykumar mentioned, the speed at which you guys release stuff is quite amazing and kudos to you for that.

I know, I have given you a hard time ;) but if I were you I would rather have this feedback than not (though I couldn't agree more that I could have done a far better job of giving the feedback)

And if this is of any use, I would urge the readers of this blog to go give TringMe a try. Seriously :) Cheers!

Ashish,

I spoke to my support staff and the complete mail exchange with this user and the call records is published here. We have suppressed the phone numbers and IP address for privacy purposes.:

http://www.tringme.com/uc1mails.pdf
http://www.tringme.com/uc1calllogs.pdf

As you can see from the call logs, he regularly uses TringMe to make calls but then does this propaganda to speak against TringMe whenever we make a new release (evident from his another comment http://www.pluggd.in/2008/04/tringme-opens-apis-create-web-based-voice-applications-flash-based-widgets).

Ravi, I am quite sure that you wouldn't be our user if our service was "terrible" all through your usage of over 2+ months and also purchased multiple times.

Fellow TringMe users and readers, TringMe takes pride in executing at the highest level and giving the best customer service that it can. Amongst the several hundred thousand users of TringMe, we do have a few that make it hard for us ;-), but that's life and we live through it. But, once in a while, we think that we need to continue to instill your trust in us and in the service we are providing. It's merely with that purpose that I am responding to this blog comment with the factual data that I have.

With that said, I will let the readers decide what Ravi (locomi.com/) is trying to do.

Just paid 5 bucks for this service. And it tells me you do not have enough credit to dial this number??!! Customized carrier grade mobile solution!? Lol. My advice? Get your basic service right first. Then we'll talk.
