Marry Bollywood star (look-a-like) – BharatMatrimony launches Facial Search
BharatMatrimony has launched facial search feature (link) that enables you to upload celebrity (you can also upload your ex-girlfriend’s pics) pictures and BM will find a look-alike.
The facial search technology used is far from being perfect – but guess it’s a good start- I am sure it will lead to major ‘discovery’ of profiles. Most importantly, such features add a lot of fun value to the product – and in turn, increase stickiness.

What will Shaadi do? Launch something similar?

What an idea SirJi….what a way to put facial recognition algorithm for test….hats off to bharat-matrimony.
I tested the search and looks like…the algo works more on the hair style than the facial features!!! (my observation).
However, a good way to start a search.
I liked the “more like her” search than cini-star search.
