Sulekha has launched Sulekha Book Series, an initiative to reward it’s bloggers by publishing books out of
featured blogs.
One blogger will be selected every month whose blogs will be featured in a book, which will showcase a selection of his work. The published books will go to sale on Sulekha.com and Indiaplaza.in. The profits from all the books sold will go completely to the blogger, who can decide the exact price-point and profit margin (in consultation with the publisher).
Going forward, 2 Books will be published every month, one will be a single author book which will contain the works of one featured blogger on Sulekha while the other will be a collective works book on a particular theme.
This is surely a cool way to reward users for their participation!
Though Sulkeha isn’t directly monetizing this initiative, it will definitely help them in acquiring serious bloggers and content (plus some good seo juice too).
Those who spent 1.5 crores a month (and got almost nothing) should learn from such initiatives!

Very innovative marketing strategy by Sulekha but who is gonna buy those books. Is there a market for such writers and books? Anyways, sulekha is definitely going to get some serious upcoming bloggers.
Almost got me thinking about starting a blog there. Didn’t have enough content on my regular ones to even contemplate a book, so ditched it. Nonetheless awesome initiative by Sulekha
