Jeevansathi now allows you to chat with your prospective life partner on google talk with complete confidentiality. Without even revealing your google talk id, you will be able to send and receive chat requests to other jeevansathi members who are online.
This is a very cool feature that surely will get them much wider adoption of Jeevansathi (and goes very well with their recently launched TVC on privacy).
If you have noticed, in the last few days most of the matrimonial sites are looking for distribution of their application and apart from integrating with DTH providers, there is a general innovation happening (to get more users, bypassing the Internet penetration challenge)

I think this feature will be extremely irritating.
Imagine getting hundreds of chat requests while on gtalk / gchat, especially since most of us use it to correspond with professional contacts as well!!!
I’d choose Shaadi.com anyday over Jeevansathi for the inbuilt chat that they offer.
Hi, i think this will not irritate anyone , not everytime you can stay on jeevansathi or any other matrimonial site to chat but most of the time you stay in gtalk . Jeevansathi providing the feature of hiding yourself from search when you don’t want to get contacted.
You will be able to hide yourself and disable chat requests. Just like being ‘invisible’ for chat.
As Riya said, we aren’t logged into the matrimonial site all day but most of us spend a lot of time on gtalk. We can either log on to the shaadi/bm messenger and ‘hope’ that your dream match happens to be online at the same time or you can use jeevansathi’s cool new feature and increase your chances manifold.
First of all two jeevansathi users will chat through a bot .
the bot act as intermediate and hence has full control over chats.
if u dont want furthur chat requests . u can get urself offline on jeevansathi by a command . and when u r in mood to chat with jeevansathi users on gtalk users u can again appear online to them . this is a anti-spam feature .
also its ur wish if u allow/deny his chat request after seeing the jevansathi profile of the sender
