By the way, I am currently in San Francisco and went out with couple of Indians to celebrate the Independence day – we went to an Indian restaurant and the mood there was amazing! People were wishing each other ‘Happy Independence day’ – and I felt good to see that Indians are more Indians when not in India (don’t you think so?)

oh yeah..Indians are more Indians when in US. Infact, Indians are more americans than americans too!
The only one co. that makes money out of all this is Google’s search – 4mn * 20 cents – thts the revenue they earned because of this!
By the way, I am not too sure about the traffic from Pakistan? I believe it’s because the of the generic query ‘independence day’ and the fact that the independence day of Pak overalaps (well..almost) with India..
China data is quite surprising!
Awesome !!! But quite frankly, I , in Pune, did not … “feel the heat” of the Independance day. I hope it doesn’t happen that the NRIs and people NOT in India start celebrating it more feverishly than the Indians (or rather, those living in India)
@ Raseel: Maybe thts why Ashish mentioned “Indians are more Indians when not in India ”
I think we take Independence day as holiday and hardly care about it.
