pluGGd.in is all about startups and and in our endeavor to bring new startups/products to the readers of this blog, we share the new products that we come across. Here is the next installment – please share your comment/feedback on these products
mVies.in
mVies.in is an interesting idea developed by few IITians. mVies is a mobile portal that provides movie and cinema information to the users
from their mobile phones. Browsable from any GPRS/WAP/EDGE enabled mobile phone it provides anywhere anytime information availability.
According to Sanjay, founder of mVies:
mvies.in can be browsed from any GPRS/EDGE/WAP enabled mobile phone and thus it provides the ultimate flexibility to movie goers. The site has been specially designed so that is it browsable on the lowest configuration mobile phones.
Care has been taken to provide ease of use and information accessibility with least number of clicks. The movie details provide show timings, cinema address & telephone number that can be invoked from the phone with one click
Offrz.in
Offrz.in is a mobile portal that provides discounts, promotions, free offers, sales etc. on the mobile phones.
“Keeping up with our IAYFT belief we expect our users to visit this before making shopping decisions.” – mentions Sanjay, founder of mobisolv, the company behind these products.
What I like about the above mentioned products is their vertical focus, but can’t really talk about execution since these products are operational only in NCR and Mumbai region (Bangalore edition is expected to be rolled out in few days. )
If you stay in NCR/Mumbai region, give these products a spin and do share your comment/feedback.

Interesting stuff.
@mvies.in
how different from zook.in mobile search.
@offrz..
very good. If they can provide local content. (i am in garuda mall and search for offers there). It will rock!!
Concept wise – this is good..but execution so far isn’t upto the mark. I got errors while browsing.
Will revisit this in future

Hi Ashish,
I would like to reach Sanjay regarding the monetization opportunity thru mKhoj mobile ad network. I am not able to locate his contact details. Will it be possible for you to share it with me?
Thanks,
Amit Gupta
