India loses ~50% of Internet bandwidth for the next 10 days

Do not blame your ISP for slowdown in the Internet speed.

India, in general has lost ~50-60% of Internet bandwidth and the situation will remain as-is for the next 10-12 days.

“A breakdown in an international undersea cable network disrupted Internet links to Egypt, India and Gulf Arab countries on Wednesday, and Egypt said it could take several days for its services to return to normal.” [reuters]

Beat the Internet slowdow by going out and mingling with real life friends! :) .

Technically speaking, use FireFox- it’s much faster and sleek compared to IE.

Got a mail asking how is FF faster than IE. So, here is the explanation:
There are couple of parameters that goes into while downloading the page (i.e. max concurrent connections/pipelining etc) and these are optimized in FF.
